Baseball

Gavin & Ryker had their baseball closing ceremonies today. Gavin is really excited to have made All-Stars. Ryker didn't make it this year. I can't quite figure that one out. For some reason they only took 2 kids from his team. If they had taken 3 I am sure he would have been the 3rd one. I am trying to look at it as a blessing because I'm not sure how we would have gotten him back and forth to practices and games with our crazy schedules. Gavin has several friends playing with him, so we have people we feel comfortable calling for help getting him around. Ryker was disappointed, but I think he'll get over it when he realizes how much more time he'll have this summer to play and hang out with his buddies.  

Gavin also won the fastest runner portion of the skills competition. (He should have, his legs are about 10 times longer than anyone else's.) He even had a 1 second penalty for going outside of the base line, so he thinks he's pretty cool. We will let you guys know when his games will be so you could come if you wanted to.
