Baseball

Hey everybody! This is the last baseball news of the year. Gavin's team played in a couple of tournaments. They had a rough time. They somehow got into a "Super-League" tournament (super league is like the best of the all-stars). They really struggled with that. Gavin, personally, had a pretty good last game. He played center field and caught 6 fly balls! They only played 4 innings, so he was responsible for 1/2 of the outs for the game. It was really cool. He was also one of 2 kids who actually made it to first base safely. (He got out at 2nd. I'm not sure when the other kid got out, but he didn't make it home.) We were really proud of him. He did a great job and always did the best that he could. He pitched for a few games. That's his favorite. Center field can be kind of boring (though it clearly wasn't boring in that last game!) Here are a couple of pictures, look carefully and you can see the ball about to land in his mitt for the 6th catch.

I am stressing about finals, especially Chemistry. I will be done after August 5th and then I start up again on August 20th.
